The World Conference of Internet Telecommunications meeting December 3-14 2012 is another corporate effort to take individual rights and transfer them to unelected bureaucratic institutions.
Like the World Bank and World Trade Organization these global entities are formed outside sovereign power of elected or representative governments and promoted by global corporate interests who like to make all the laws to favor themselves.
It's hard to object when so much is done in secret so here's an invitation to get informed and involved and join Anonymous and others fighting for free and open Internet with privacy protection given to individuals and transparency required for governments and corporations.
You can go to the Google site and sign the petition, follow the hashtag on Twitter #OpWCIT or join irc.anonops.org #OpWCIT channel or google for additional details from one of the many groups like EFF who have helped fight for your right to information and online privacy.
