We have watched as the US Government has declared war on truth and gone in pursuit of Wikileaks.  People who want to claim that the leaks threaten National security should review the statements of Defense Secretary Robert Gates from 2010 which state otherwise. 

U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said descriptions of the potential harm from secret diplomatic cables posted online by WikiLeaks.org are “significantly overwrought” and the disclosures will have a “fairly modest” impact on foreign policy.

“The fact is governments deal with the United States because it’s in their interest -- not because they like us, not because they trust us, and not because they believe we can keep secrets,” Gates said at a Pentagon news conference today. “Is this embarrassing? Yes. Is it awkward? Yes. Consequences for U.S. foreign policy? I think fairly modest.”

Practical interests will trump concerns over the leaks, Gates said today.

“Every other government in the world knows the United States government leaks like a sieve,” Gates said. “Some governments deal with us because they fear us, some because they respect us, most because they need us.”

This is important because Jeremy Hammond is now on trial accused of hacking US defense contractor Straegic Intelligence or Stratfor.  This was part of an FBI sting operation where the FBI orchestrated the Stratfor hack in order to get evidence to prosecute Wikileaks when the hacked information was released.

Not only do we have the Secretary of Defense saying the leak was not a threat to National security but that the US leaks like a sieve.  Now we find Judge Loretta Preska presiding over the fate of the young man, caught in this FBI set up, is violating her Judicial oath as the wife of a victim of the Stratfor hack.

A side bit of interesting detail in this web of manipulated game of injustice. Not only is the Judge's husband a victim as a Stratfor client he is a partner in the firm the firm that defended Judith Miller of the NYTimes who was instrumental in Bush PR campaign to sell Iraq War and expose CIA Agent Valerie Plame to discredit her husband Ambassador Joe Wilson with evidence Iraq WMD claims were lies!  This is significant when we see Preska was considered for Supreme Court nomination by Bush who is threatened by war crimes exposed by Wikileaks as well.  But this doesn't need that level of speculative conflict to violate the law or judicial ethics.

Anonymous has released a pastebin exposing the fraud by the Judge in Jeremy's case and call for her to recuse herself in keeping with her judicial oath.

Greetings. We are Anonymous. We've come to deliver an important message regarding the trial of accused Anonymous Hacktivist Jeremy Hammond. We believe a great injustice is occurring in Jeremy's trial and that the public and media deserves to be aware of it. Jeremy is entitled to a fair and public hearing by a competent, independent and impartial tribunal established by law. Under the current circumstances, that cannot be possible.

Now we will explain: Jeremy Hammond is a political activist that is being charged with involvement in the December 2011 hack of Stratfor. He is accused of releasing the Stratfor information to WikiLeaks. The judge presiding over Jeremy's case is named Loretta Preska. During Jeremy's bail hearing Judge Preska portrayed Jeremy as a terrorist more dangerous than murders and sexual predators, denied his bail and, before Jeremy and a gathering of his friends and family, announced the sentence he would face if found guilty: 360 months to life.

What Judge Preska did not disclose at this hearing was that she is bound by law to recuse herself of this case due to a direct conflict of interest. Please note the following: On September 11, 1983 Loretta Preska married one Thomas J. Kavaler, currently a partner at the lawfirm Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. If you examine the Stratfor database, which was published by Wikileaks, you will find on Starfor's clientele list the e-mail address: tkavaler@cahill.com.

This address can also be found on Cahill.com, the website of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, on a bio of Thomas Kavaler, Judge Preska's husband. Judge Preska by proxy is a victim of the very crime she intends to judge Jeremy Hammond for. Judge Preska has failed to disclose the fact that her husband is a client of Stratfor and recuse herself from Jeremy's case, therefore violating multiple Sections of Title 28 of the United States Code. Judge Loretta Preska's impartiality is compromised by her Husband's involvement with Stratfor and a clear prejudice against Hammond exists, as evident by her statements.

In the interest of justice, the public, media and defense should demand Judge Preska remove herself from Hammond's case or if she will not, demand a superior court provide a writ of prohibition forcing her to step down.
