This was going to be a seed but Newsvine system refuses to recognize that the link from Business Insider.  It should not matter it is the same story Benno seeded from Silicon Valley Insider, but the seed function will not let me put the correct information in the source field.  It shouldn't

It's a distressing addition to the fact that #Trapwire domestic spying system and associated sock puppet persona management system that puts fake personalities and accounts into social media, is not only missing among headlines as innane as Palin's absence from GoP Conventioni

My own suspicions always go to censorship but my tracker has been useless for more than a year so who knows if the inability to recognize a link from Business Insider is a technical issue or something designed.  However obscure my voice is here now, at least it will be on the record.

The U.S. cable networks won't be covering this one tonight (not accurately, anyway), but Trapwire is making the rounds on social media today—it reportedly became a Trending hashtag on Twitter earlier in the day.

Trapwire is the name of a program revealed in the latest Wikileaks bonanza—it is the mother of all leaks, by the way. Trapwire would make something like disclosure of UFO contact or imminent failure of a major U.S. bank fairly boring news by comparison.

And someone out there seems to be quite disappointed that word is getting out so swiftly; the Wikileaks web site is reportedly sustaining 10GB worth of DDoS attacks each second, which is massive.
