Gender Bender Chemicals and Boys Turning Into Girls

advertisement

Here's something rather rotten from the State of Denmark. Its government yesterday unveiled official research showing that two-year-old children are at risk from a bewildering array of gender-bending chemicals in such everyday items as waterproof clothes, rubber boots, bed linen, food, nappies, sunscreen lotion and moisturising cream.
The 326-page report, published by the environment protection agency, is the latest piece in an increasingly alarming jigsaw. A picture is emerging of ubiquitous chemical contamination driving down sperm counts and feminising male children all over the developed world. And anti-pollution measures and regulations are falling far short of getting to grips with it.

Sperm counts are falling so fast that young men are less fertile than their fathers and produce only a third as much, proportionately, as hamsters. And gender-bending chemicals are increasingly being blamed for the mystery of the "lost boys": babies who should normally be male who have been born as girls instead.
The Danish government set out to find out how much contamination from gender-bending chemicals a two-year-old child was exposed to every day. It concluded that a child could be "at critical risk" from just a few exposures to high levels of the substances, such as from rubber clogs, and imperilled by the amount it absorbed from sources ranging from food to sunscreens.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Nothing in Nature works in isolation, every action has reactions and some take time to manifest.

I have noticed and commented about this gender issue for years. Like we see more girls been borne now than 30 years ago. I see parents going for a third or fourth child, expecting a boy.

Also, an increase in gay males in the last 20 years or so. I find that young males as a whole are more feminine than ever.

Could there be a bigger picture going on here we do not understand, called population control: either man-made or natural. or a combination of both? (Just guessing)

There is usually a reason for everything, even though we may not understand it.

If a person is content with their sexual preferences, so be it. I think it is social pressure that makes one not content.

Crocs!! We knew it!!! Not only do they make your family look queer, they make your family be queer!

That and the fact we condition these poor little male children to be picky eaters afraid of absolutely everything in their environment. We're raising them to be pu$$ies.

George Carlin warned us, he warned us dammit:

"Baby on board. I don't know what valueless, soul-less, yuppie #%$@@&$ thought up that idea. No idea who. You know what I do when I see one of those things? I run 'em right into a utility pole. Bounce that kid around a little bit. Let him grow up with a sense of reality for chissakes."

Timid, effeminate males do not seem to be an epidemic in Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Russia those neighborhoods. Just Denmark?

If crocs cause the sperm counts of the boys who wear them to drop it's just Darwinian. Nature knows that is a tendency that should not be passed on.

The article did not talk about their manner or courage, but their sperm counts. Do you have any scientific details to support your theory of sperm counts in other countries or is the comment just another opinion offered in defense of petrochemicals? Do you ever have any facts?

Research at Rotterdam's Erasmus University found that boys whose mothers were exposed to PCBs and dioxins were more likely to play with dolls and tea sets and dress up in female clothes

As usual, you fail to read the entire article and report accurately and completely.

This Telegraph UK piece is a little over the top, anyway, but it does point out that some of our little boy children are acting like pu$$ies.

The author (and you, no doubt) blame "chemicals".

I blame parenting and your enforced culture of picky eaters, irrational fear of imagined deadly toxins in everything in sight, and your crusade against common sense and comfortable living generally.

Poor little kids can't pick their parents; too bad for them.

Some of us long for the days when we understood the paint chips were toxic and the library paste was not, and when most people had sense enough to tell the difference.

.

Yes, you industry champions would want to go back to when Monsanto had a global monopoly in PCB production and folks still believed their claims that PCB's were safe, that the dioxins in Agent Orange had no risk for soldiers exposed and smoking had no link to cancer. It is a shame that knowledge advances and profitable ventures are shown to have toxic effects.

You seem to need very few facts to twist and distort. Why would anyone waste the effort of offering you additional factual information? Like tossing pearls to swine, like pouring cognac in the Kool Aide.

Instead, it's opinion versus opinion, toe-to-toe slugging it out. Not exactly the sweet science, but you're calling the shots.

Keep on dreaming, blaming and censoring. It is transparent enough.

We will reserve the pearls, cognac and facts for interested folks with an appreciation for good science.

All joking aside, the chemicals we're ingesting are changing us in unintended ways.

Here's more information on Chemicals in Your Environment from pediatrician Dr. Alan Greene, MD.

That's a great source, thank you. It's criminal that average citizens believe that toxic exposure is an area regulated for public health impacts and really dying for profits is the Washington norm.
